To help Taiwan’s brands to enter China and international markets, add profitability and enhance national economic development, “Taiwan Leader Brand Union” was formally established on February 16, 2011, during the important 100th birthday of the Republic of China, marking a new era of Taiwan’s brand development. Convened by Mr. Chang Pen-Tsao, the Union was formed with the joint efforts of three organizations: the Business Development Foundation of the Chinese Straits, the Chinese Commercial & Industrial Coordination Society (CCICS) and the General Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of China.

The Union currently attracts Taiwan’s important industries with leading brands in: daily necessities, LED, telecommunications network, 3C home appliances, LCD TV, real estate and construction, tourist hotels, automotive parts & accessories, bicycles, biotechnology, meat products, spectacles, snack food, plastic industry, real estate agencies, traditional industry, cultural and creative industry, books, stationery, gifts, etc.

In the future, we shall continue to expand and deepen cross-strait cooperation and exchanges through this professional exchange platform to fulfill the government policy of “Taiwan experiences, global vision”, enhance the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s brands, and achieve a three-way win situation for Taiwan, foreign investors and China.

 
     
  Structure  
 

The Union is headed by Chairman Chang Pen-Tsao, and comprises representatives from industry, government and academia, who serve as the deputy convener and consultants. Secretary-General Huang Hsu-Sheng assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Union Project Office, which consists of 3 teams: the Taiwan Brand Selection Team, the Well-known Trademark Integration Team and the Channel Cooperation Strategy Team, which assist in project strategic planning and administrative coordination.

  1. Assist Taiwan’s brand enterprises in achieving China’s “Well-Known Trademarks”
